This is the first vase that my mother completed. She was very uncertain as to how it would look. When they are laying on the work surface they look completely different than when they are hung or have light behind them. This one is positioned in the house on a small wall just below a skylight. I can only hope the photo does justice to how the skylight just makes the blue pop right out of the photo. It is absolutely extraordinary in that spot and would not look the same elsewhere.
