Iguana Go Wild

Florida

This is a wild iguana shot in Sunrise Florida. Though not native to Florida the iguana established itself in the wild when owners released them when the newness wore off. This one is about 3.5 ft long.
The Iguana is considered a food source by many of the peoples of South America and is said to taste like, what else, chicken. I'm not likely to see for myself.

This one, and about 20 others, was shot in a residential area next to a canal.
