We left Trinidad behind and travelled up to the Escambrey Mountains. Here we met our guide, Yanet, who's a very serious man. ;) The coach couldn't take us much further so we loaded up into the Russian truck and headed into the hills to go walking through this beautiful national park. We stopped in at a local farmer's house for refreshments then headed on to the hacienda where we would spend the night.
