You and I see sunset photography in the same way, as documenting a progression in the sky rather than taking a snapshot or looking for a scenic landscape setting. You might enjoy some of Vermont's sunsets, at the galleries I've posted under the name "copyeEDditor." The ones seen over Lake Champlain aren't as spectacular as those over the Pacific, but in some ways it's a similar situation: you in San Fran at the edge of the continent, me in the Champlain Valley at the edge of New England. Others have remarked on the way Vermont is "the California of New England"--more like the Humboldt Nation than what's in the southern part of your country-size state. --Ed Barna, gotobarn@comcast.net
