Osprey eating my pond fish. Has perfect perch in a 100 foot dying Pine. Leaves and perches in neighbors partially dead Tallow tree and also utility pole. Richard, La. (near Eunice)

I have seen 2 adults and a juvenile in a sycamore tree in my backyard all week. Amazing

I am from Morgan City and have seen a pair of these birds for the last two winters. I did not know what they were but your pictures have made me believe they are indeed Ospreys; bigger than hawks but not as big as a Bald Eagle. I have also seen one during the winter between Patterson and Centerville. The bird will sit on a pole on the side of highway 90 at the Calumet Cut, a rather large bayou. Beautiful birds
