It is time for this ship to sail. Just waiting on the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers to approve the sinking as an artificial reef in the Gulf of America off the Florida coast. Not only does the SS United States hold the record for the fastest crossing on the Atlantic, but now will hold the record for the longest ship being put down as a reef.
