Protégé par un porche du XIIIème siècle (voir photographie précédente),
le portail sud (XXIIème siècle) comporte de nombreuses sculptures.
Tympan : le Christ en majesté, entouré des symboles des quatre évangélistes.
Linteau (au-dessous du typan) : les douze apôtres se parlant deux à deux.
Trumeau (partie verticale au centre) : le Christ bénissant (XIIIème siècle).
Les grandes portes d'entrée dans la chatédrale
sont en chêne sculpté (XVème siècle).
Ébrasements : six statues-colonnes représentant des rois de
l'Ancien Testament et des prophètes tenant des phylactères entre leurs mains.

The south portal (12th century) is one of the entrance into the cathedral.
It is protected by a 13th century porch (see previous picture).
It presents many sculptures.
Tympanum : Christ in majesty, surrounded with the symbols of the four evangelists.
Lintel (under the tympanum) : the twelve apostles conversing two by two.
Trumeau (vertical part under the lintel) : Christ giving his blessing (13th century).
The two great oaken doors to enter into the cathedral
were carved in the 15th century.
Embrasures : six column statues representing kings from the Old Testament
and prophets holding phylacteries in their hands.
