Grand Portage, Minnesota

The fur trading fort in Grand Portage has been restored. When you walk around the grounds of the fort, with the shores of Lake Superior off in the distance, you feel like you are living back in the 1800s.

Well seen and very nicely composed. A caucophony of geometric patterns and rich textures, accented by a rich cyan sky.
