Master Bifolds Closeup_042413

Randy said it was up to me to figure out where to put the handles for the bifolds. Denny didn't want to be responsible for this, other than there is only one panel on a bifold that is allowed to have the know based on torque. But, as far as height, an ill-placed knob can be a source of irritation for years to come. So, Randy and Denny said there were two possibilities. Up by the cross bar of the panel, which would be most aesthetic. Or lower, where an average door handle wood be. I viewed this as where would I want to open the door all the time. The panel is too high. You wouldn't want to reach that high every time. A regular door handle would be too low. You wouldn't want to reach that low every time. But, at chest height, in the middle, would be just right. I feel a little like Goldilocks.
