Because of the curse of the familiar, I neglected to comment on this image before now. This is such a wonderful photograph both in its composition and its texture. Technicalities aside, however, this for me is more profound in that it represents inevitable endings as in the setting sun while giving hope to new beginnings as in the rising moon.
