Thala Beach lodge resort near Port Douglas in Far North Queensland Australia

While my other half rested in air conditioned comfort of our Jungle Walk Bungalow
I took myself on a walk in the heat of the day visiting various lookouts at
the resort and eventually ending up at Thala's private beach & Herbie's Beach shack.
Here I took some obligatory photos and then sank into a hammock amongst coconut
palms enjoying the serenity and seclusion for quite a while until I worked out
how to get OUT of the hammock (note to hammock novices: take someone with you!)
