Gunbower Island and Torrumbarry

Gunbower Island is Australia's largest inland island, situated at the Murray River, north Victoria. (click on thumbnails to view larger images)
It extends over 50km in length. My summary of Gunbower Island:
- Torrumbarry Weir: a pretty spot with green lawns, water views, visitors centre, toilets.
- Bush camping at various locations, dogs allowed.
- Camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, picnics, bird-watching, bush walking all popular.
