These images were taken at Point Danger Gannet colony near Portland in South West Victoria. The island you see off shore is Lawrence Rock which is teaming with Gannets.
Point Danger on the mainland is effectively home to the "excess"! The white specks you see in image 5485 are all Gannets (in air and covering rock)!
