Falls Creek - Winter

Some scenes around the Falls Creek Resort during Winter 2011
Our visit coincided with Royal Canin Sled Dog Classic which was
held at night under lights around the resort.

Whilst Siberian Huskies are the most common, other breeds
also participated such as Alaskan Malamutes, Border Collies
even German Shorthaired Pointers I think I saw!

Unfortunately due to problems with my equipment, plus not having
"snow legs" (and not knowing my way around) I was unable to
capture the action of the race as I'd hoped. But I'd love to see
the sled dogs in action another time!
