A plethora of Wildlife

Main places for wildlife photography this trip were: Mallacoota, Chiltern, Warby Ranges and Benalla all in Victoria.
Nature is a delight for a photographer when it produces special opportunities such as close ups of wild birds and
animals, curious babies, a few rare species and some pretty light to work with.

Species seen/photographed include: nesting Flycatchers (Leaden or Satin), Superb Lyrebirds,
White Bellied Sea Eagles, Red Browed Finches, Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos, Satin Bowerbird,
Darter, Water Dragon, Red Bellied Black Snake, Crested Terns, Yellow Faced Honeyeaters,
White Winged Choughs, Currawongs, Kookaburra, Crested Shrike Tits, Bearded Dragon, Lace Monitors,
Goannas, Treecreepers, Robins - Red Capped and Jacky Winters, Mistletoebird, rare Turquoise
Parrot and rare Grey Crowned Babblers, Rufous and Golden Whistlers, Yellow Rumped Thornbills,
Gang Gang Cockatoos, Spoonbill, Crested Pigeon, White Browed Woodswallows and a few unknowns!

Note: the larger versions of the images have now been moved into my Wildlife galleries here on pbase.
