Its a tradition in Northern Germany that if a man is still not married on his 30th Birthday he must go to the town of his birth and sweep the Townhall steps.

In most of northern Germany they use Sand, however in Bremen they use bottle tops and the tradition takes place on the Cathedral steps.

I was told about this the night before I actually managed to capture it.
