The Schnoor quarter

Bremen's oldest district, the Schnoor quarter, is a maze of lanes lined with little 15th and 16th century houses set close together like a string of pearls.

I have just returned from Germany on Friday and I'm back again on Monday so apologies if I don't catch up with everyone before then. This was taken on one of the less hectic moments between work and sleep.

I thought this was the shambles in York when i first saw the thumbnail, Kevin! Excellent use of the shop lights that light up the cobblestones.Voted

This is lovely Kevin - super low light shot with the warmth of the lights from the inns and restaurants....
