One Tree

Taken on the last day of heavy snowfall that we had a few weeks ago. HDR conversion . For those interested in HDR I got rid of a long running problem I have had with the blown out areas.I disscuised them with a Black and White layer erased through to the front layer in photoshop. Its still blown out but looks a lot better than the yellow I had before.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I think there's someone up there about to talk to you....hmmm, just glimpsed at what Phillip wrote. I see we are thinking the same. Love it !!

A striking composition and interesting effect but again I'm not so sure about the black dots....

Really good comp and effects...although I am not so sure about all the black spots in the sky....it does give it the feel of a decomposing old print!!!

I don't fancy meeting the beast that made the big footprints

Ooh, nice'n'moody - looks kind of biblical!
Now - y'see, technically this isn't HDR - it's single image tonemapped with HDR software. If it really were HDR, you'd have taken several shots at different exposures and combined them into a 'true' HDR image and then tonemapped that into something that can be represented on-screen. :o)
