Sunset over Bishop Auckland

We had some very strange cloud formations today. I took this on my way home and attempted to use the HDR to bring up the town at the bottom of the picture. It has left a very grainy effect. I think I would of been better off doing this one on multiple exposures instead of using one RAW image

1/250s f/3.5 at 17.0mm iso400 full exif

That was definately a powerful sky...yes....a bracketed shot likely would have been perfect to catch all the elements.

Awesome picture, shame about the noisy grain, I noticed a similar effect on Claires picture of the lampshade, are you using the same software

The night the sky turned day-glo...I'm so glad you were out there to capture this!

Yep, they were spectacular skies alright! I knew I should've stayed out a bit later... lol
