At the end of September 2005 I moved from the Netherlands to Melbourne,Australia. This a very big change: different people, different cultures, different habits, different rules (left side driving!!!). With this Photo-A-Day gallery I want to give an impression of my daily life in Australia. As it concerns daily life in suburban Melbourne, not all pictures can be of high aesthetic standards. It is now a year ago that I started this Photo a day gallery. It is much fun and relaxing to look for an item in just ordinary daily Australian life.
At the 1st of August 2007 I became my permanent residence. My new country is still fascinating. And daily I discover new things. Sometimes my world is very small, it consist of working and caring. I try to see through my pictures a nice and beautiful world. (but I'm very much aware of that there is a nastier world)
