on the terrain of the former "Varusschlacht" 9 CE near Kalkriese, Teutoburger Forest
It was a battle between the Romains and the Germanic tribes.

These 'digs' are a lot of tedious work. You have to be very passionate about history to invest that much time and effort. Nice reportage! V
