the fact that the Dutchies never closes their curtains
Although I have done that too when I lived in the NL

How funny. I never thought about it. I have blinds throughout. I can see out, but they are slanted so it is hard to see inward. Maybe the Dutch like a nice bright light. I actually like the blurry in this.

Maybe I'm unusual in leaving my curtains open. I don't have any Dutch ancestry though!
