Fanfare

Melbourne, Australia

Fanfare (1958) Directed by Bert Haanstra. Dutch Comedy
After a fight the brass band in a small village splits up into two separate bands.
They both want to win a contest and will do anything to prevent the other band from winning it.
What makes this movie really funny is the fact that the man with the triangle (the tiniest instrument of the all) plays the crucial part.
He is the one what it's all about, even while you can't hear him at all.

This band is playing a warm up for the Melbourne Jazz Festival 2011

This is a super catch for the movie. And well photographed. This band looks like they're getting ready to jam! V.

This sounds like just the kind of movie I'd love. A bit quirky and off-the wall. Love your image which fits beautifully with your description. V

How ironic that they are busking in front of a Tiffany Store. Well done.
