The meanders on an Uzbek girl’s tubeteika, worn at special occasions.
In art and architecture, a meander is a decorative border constructed
from a continuous line, shaped into a repeated motif.
The word 'tubeteika' is derived from the Tatar word 'tubete', meaning 'top'.
In Uzbek such a cap is called 'duppi' or 'kalpoq'.
