All Natural

Melbourne, Australia

I always take a stone with me from an area I visit.
These stones I found in the Flinders Ranges
Imagine that these stones are more then 540 million years old.

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS

Nice rocks! That one in the middle looks like a big old baked potato! (Sorry... I guess I'm just hungry today!) Got sour cream?

I like to collect rocks and stones from places I've visited as well. Imagine the stories they could tell! :-)

In some places (like at the tops of the mountains in Hawaii) taking stones away is considered an invitation for bad luck! And if one is to judge by the incredible numbers of boxes of rocks that are constantly being mailed back to the National Park Services here from all over the world there may be an argument in favor of the superstition! :)

hard to beat that! :)
