Excuse me sir, i noticed you have an interarms mark x with some wide scope bases. What brand are those wide-based scope bases? The rear scope base on my mark x is puny and weak looking I would like to have a sturdy looking one like I see on your rifle. Thanks!

It is my understanding that the date code is the number on the rear bridge, in this case a 1980s vintage. The marks and logos vary, but mine has the Whitworth logo on the front bridge and on the original recoil pad.

Charles ...thank you for the whitworth photo's...is the right side rear tang photo of the 4 digit # the date of manufacture? Is the stamp on the right side that is duplicated on the receiver and the butt of the barrel a whitworth logo?
