My digital SLR camera bag with Nikon camera body and three lenses hits the scale 10.5 pounds. My tripod is another 7.5 pounds. Carrying some or all of this with you means something in one or both hands and usually something hanging around your neck or over a shoulder. Now you have to walk up and down and around to get where you want to go, all the while watching for rocks and roots, anything to trip you up and throw you off the cliff or into the alligator pond.

Maybe a lighter load will help extend this hobby of mine for a few more years. The iPhone 11 Pro has three lenses and hits the scale at a whopping 6.63 ounces. A small tripod and mount for the phone adds another 5 ounces. Throw all this into a 5 ounce fanny pack and I'm on the trail with hands free for my homemade hiking stick.

So....the project begins. I just spent 3 nights camping with my brother-in-law in Ocean Springs, MS. I took lots of photos in a lot of lighting conditions and pushed the Iphone 11 Pro pretty hard. I'll be going through those photos and posting soon. Check back to see the good, bad, and ugly.
