Went on a photography class fieldtrip today. I dropped my camera about 3 feet onto cement.
It was because we'd been reviewing photos and I DIDN'T HAVE THE STRAP around
my neck. I got excited over the evening light, tried to switch lenses and dropped
my camera! The mirror got whacked out of position, and the eye cover thing popped
off and was thrown into a void somewhere. It is gone.

Two beers later I started to feel better, got back to my office and decided to give the camera
another look. I gently, GENTLY nudged the mirror and it clicked back into the correct alignment.
So far, so good. Another bullet dodged and another reminder to keep the strap around my neck.
