March 23, 2005
Centerville Cemetary

I'm getting to the point where I need to throw a piece of cardboard in the back
of the car. I wanted to get down on the ground for some of the photos I took
today, but it has been pouring down rain here and I was wearing my office clothes.
This shot was taken by pointing the camera in the general direction and firing away.

Interesting shot. Just a thought. I carry my tripod in a tripod bag and I use it to kneel on when needed.

Great shot - couple of plastic bags should do the trick :)

Love the color, design and the textures of this. Glad the date was there, it looked old. Beautiful shot.

I love that technique of pointing in a general direction and firing away. There are always pleasant surprises and this one is no exception.

Has seen a few winters, Cheryl. The masonary work was beautifully done back then.

It seems to tell such a story.
Great color.

Cemetaries are always good photo ops. I think anyway. I love tombstone shots. This is great with the lichen growing on it. Neat texture and shows its age.

For a blind photo, this is very good... I like the different textures

Not bad for a blind shot! Beautiful creeping lichen-y stuff, though I'm not sure the occupants below would be so please. I like the stone and growth seem to be merging into one.
