This is my grandfathers piano. He bought this in the early 1920's, and played it all of his life. After his death in 1974, it has been passed around the grandchildren as different ones took piano lessons. Unfortunately age (and a kid or two banging away on the keys) has taken its toll, and the piano is beyond repair. In an effort to keep the memories of my grandfather alive, I am disassembling it and will work over the next several months (or longer, knowing how I get projects done) to create something out of the pieces. As I progress, I will put images up. Just don't hold me to any schelude!
wonderful gallery! love the angles, repetitions of lines and shapes, colors. I hope you can get more shots, you have a such a nice start to this galler...how about some hands playing...
