Every year in September, the Southern New York Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society sponsors a swim across the Hudson. The swim starts on the west side of the Hudson at Piermont, just south of the Tappan Zee Bridge. It concudes 3 miles later in Irvington, NY. Kyackers from the Hudson Valley escort the swimmers across. These pictures were taken on September 12, 2004. My brother Bill was one of the swimmers.
