A sculpture of muses by Swedish Sculptor, Carl Milles, originally created for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Brookgreen Gardens acquired the sculptures in 1982.

a different interpretation of the Muses...they seem more like athletes running a race tha goddesses of various arts...all the same they are certainly a pleasant sight..
