This house was built in 1810 by William Aiken, an Irish immigrant who later became president of the South Carolina Canal and Railroad Company.
It is now one of the premier wedding venues in downtown Charleston. it has 2 ballrooms, formal dining rooms and a private garden.
I always like to see historic buildings repurposed instead of demolished.
Looks like there was a wedding taking place when I walked by.
