A Rose in the Furman University Garden

I took this photo mainly to see if I could blur the background using my Panasonic FZ1000. Success!
I didn't feel like lugging my heavy Nikon on this trip so I settled for this camera.

mission accomplished, and a fine image it is too...zoomed out so much the DOF will always be shallower, blurring the background, an attractive one in this case..
