On the Streets of Rome...

Rome, Italy

This caught my attention as we walked down this street. I wonder how they got all these bikes parked
so close together and what they were all doing there!
In 1971, my husband and I rented a motor scooter to get around Rome. Now I wonder "what were we thinking?"

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Impressive line up of motor bikes must be for rental if you can prove you can ride one.
Nice image and nice perspective and clarity.

Wow, that's a lot of scooters, and I too would wonder what they were all doing there. Well spotted (not that you could miss them ;-)) and captured, Charlene. V.

Rome is the city of Scooters (and Barcelona is quite similar)...V.

I believe that it is because parking is tight there and they prefer not to be where a car can hit them while trying to park

an interesting parking lot to be sure, and typical for Rome...motorbikes of various sizes, many scooters, are a cheaper to run than cars, and better suited to the old city's narrow streets..
