Cattedrale di Sant'Andrea

Amalfi, Italy

A medieval Roman Catholic cathedral in the Piazza del Duomo, Amalfi, it is dedicated to the Apostle Saint Andrew whose relics are kept here.
There is a grand staircase up to this cathedral. I've only included the very top of it, due to the crowds of people here. At the time, I thought: it's too hot, it's another cathedral. So, I didn't go up to see it.

I enjoy this type of facing. I saw and photographed it in Florence, not knowing it was not only in Florence. You showed quite a lot. "V"

an inspired design, and lively stone work...good idea about the comp, as there are just enough people to add a pulse to the scene..
