The city of Verona hypes this as Juliet's balcony as in Romeo and Juliet.
Shakespeare's play was based on a poem, but older works by Italian writers
including Luigi de Porto and Matteo Bandello, told the story of Romeo and Giuletta and the deadly feud between the families Montecchi and Capelletti.
This house was once inhabited by a family named Cappello and the house dates back to the 1300s,
so the Italians figured that name was close enough. The balcony was added to the house in the 20th century.
This fantasy works as throngs of tourists visit here every year.
