Monks on the Run

Siem Reap, Cambodia

So I had hoped to get one of those great shots of the monks, in their colorful robes, framed in a window of one of these temples as I have seen others accomplish. As you can see here, I failed! :-)
This was one of the few times I even saw any monks and they are tourists just like the rest of us.

Yes, at Angkor the Buddhist monks are also tourists!

Great caption! Sounds like a good name for a rock band, or at least the name of a song.

Such an interesting composition, though with the variety of expressions, dynamic colors, and tones, textures. V

A superb capture of this scene, which tells so much about mass tourism...V.

the monks are elusive, and understandably so...you did well catching even this fleeting glimpse..

Sounds like you were lucky to get this one! I like the motion you captured; looks like the monk wanted to get away from the guy with the phone. V.

The man with his phone was intruding on the Monk's space. You caught a meaningful picture. "V"
