Photoville LA is a photography festival that originated in New York City and this is the first year it
has come to Los Angeles. It featured exhibitions using repurposed shipping containers, photo cubes, and special installations. There were about 200 photographers from around the world represented with over half of them local. It was held on the lawn
and surrounding areas at the Century City Plaza Towers where the Annenberg Space for Photography is located.
It was here the last two weekends, but I could only get there last Friday evening, so I visited all the exhibits and took some photos of the venue itself. Luckily, it was a rather quiet time to be there. The weekends featured a lot of activities so I am sure it was a lot more crowded.
