Guenther House Restaurant

San Antonio, Texas

This restaurant in the King William District is a popular place for breakfast.
It is located in the former home of Carl Hilmar Guenther who established the Pioneer Flour Mill in San Antonio in the mid 1800s. His son, Erhard, added the second and third stories to the original home.
The house is a museum as well as a restaurant now.

A lovely place to have a meal though not a view I would associate with Texas. V

It sounds like a great place to stop. There are a lot of great places to eat in San Antonio. Did you go to the Magic Time Machine by any chance? It used to be a fun place to take a group of people. It looks as though you had a great visit. V
