An example of Victorian civic architecture, the building was constructed between 1882 and 1888.
The interior is beautiful with carrara marble staircase, gold leaf on the ceiling, rich wood doors.(see previous images).
It's possible to take a tour but we didn't have time as there are only 2 times a day when they do it.
