The Pont d'Iena Bridge connects the Trocadero Gardens on the right bank with the
Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars on the left bank, although the Eiffel Tower did not exist
when the bridge was built. It was built on orders from Napoleon between 1808 and 1814 to
overlook the Military School. It's named after Napoleon's victory at the Battle of Jena.
