Hard to see, but there is another person under the yellow tarp. This is a common sight on the river and I am not sure what the tarp is for other than to keep the sun off the rider!
The heat is brutal here.

lucky the person under the tarp....seems the pilot is a lot more exposed to the elements..

Such a different way of traveling, and well captured. I guess the tarp does afford protection at least from the sun. V.
