Jesse is a 3-year-old,35-40 pound male Terrier/Border Collie mix. Jesse came from a small rural shelter with his buddy J.R. Handsome Jesse had a rough start in life, and it's left him a little nervous about making new friends. He hopes to find a guardian who will be patient with him as he gets to know them, offering plenty of tasty treats and not pressuring him for snuggles before he's ready. Your patience will be repaid tenfold, as Jesse is super affectionate once he's feeling safe. Jesse loves to snuggle, play with toys, and explore the great outdoors. Jesse adores other dogs and would love to have a confident canine companion in his next home, to be a role model and companion.
