Punkin is a sweet, very shy, 2 1/2 year-old, 48 pound female Hound mix. She was originally found as a stray in a rural area. Sweet, sensitive Punkin has been through a lot of changes in the last few weeks, and she's feeling a bit overwhelmed. She hopes to find a gentle guardian who will give her a safe home to settle into. Punkin likes spending time with people, but she's easily overwhelmed by rough handling. For this reason, Punkin is recommended for a home with older or no children, so she isn't scared by grabbing hands. Punkin likes to be the center of attention and would prefer being the only pet in the household. Although Punkin likes spending time with other dogs, she doesn't appreciate having to share her favorite things with them. Punkin is on a trial adoption.
