Oso is a 3 year-old, 98 pound male Aussie Shepherd/Collie mix. He is a sensitive dog looking for a gentle and patient guardian. Oso was treated unkindly by a previous guardian, and it's left him quite nervous about making new friends. He does best with people who give him time to get to know them before touching him. He warms up to women faster than he does men. When Oso is ready for your love, he'll let you know! Oso is super sweet and affectionate with those he trusts. Oso gets along well with other dogs, big and small, though he'll stand up for himself if he's being bullied. Oso may enjoy living with another friendly, mellow dog, but he'd be happy being your one and only, too! Oso is looking for a home with no children; little ones aren't always the best at giving him space when he's feeling overwhelmed. He loves long walks and walks beautifully on leash; he'd love to join his new guardian on some hikes or strolls around the neighborhood.
