Each year the female Great Land Crab migrates from the red mangrove swamp to the ocean to deposit her eggs. These pictures show some of this activity in Melbourne Beach, FL.

Great pictures. May I know where did you take them? I am from Puerto Rico, in the east coast and we have those crabs too, but it did not occur to me what a good idea would be to get pictures of the crabs and share them to the world. Maybe people who study them will help from them.
