Now that is earth well worth the effort of tilling :B Myself,I like the hot area at the top of the frame because it adds a bit of pizzaz contrasting to the darker subject matter,and it is fitting for the harshness of the landscape.Very interesting shot with or without the frame busting.

Another simple yet fantastic picture,you keep showing just so many 1st class pictures. The out of frame works well here , but the green and blown out area at the top is distracting . Still love it.

Looks great to me, esp for a first attempt! Something I've wanted to try, but never gotten around to it. Really like the composition, and the tones and textures here are fantastic.
