LC, beautiful scene and composition. The lighting and colours are great and your title fits the scene nicely.

I think I like this more than the walkway. Beautiful photo.

I think I recognize this spot from one of your other images with the women and the straw hats in the garden :)
nice compo and color.
I was camera-less for 2 weeks as well but now have it back

Wow... what a find. Perfect timing to find the fresh petals just off the tree. Nice composition. I love the alternate!

Very well done. I like the setting and the fallen petals.--Rene

Follow the red brick road. :) Nice. It leads you into the photo. Love the treatment but then you always know how to enhance an image.

What a beautiful walkway. I recognized it as the companion piece immediately.

Excellent.

This is really nice, too. Even the fence has petals on it. You must have caught it just after the rain.

I was thinking the same thing as Sheila...
This is a discard????
This is awesome!

Great stuff, LC! Love the open gate!
Cindy Flood07-Aug-2005 02:14
Love the gate. Gee, I hope that you won't be camera-less for long.

I really enjoy those red pedals on the ground. Very nice scenery. I love this with the fence being included in the image.

flowers look nice in colour but are a little bit "messy" and slippery.
Snow sometime produces the same effect...

Beautifully composed. I vote.

Wonderful photo. I love the open gate.
Coleen Perilloux Landry07-Aug-2005 01:25
Beautiful. The crepe myrtle blossoms are pretty but the gate makes the statement. Must have been a hard rain to knock the blossoms down like this.

Lovely! The petals on the path are beautiful!
jude07-Aug-2005 01:20
Beautiful petals strewn on the wet pavement. I like the way the walk angles back and forth through the gate

What a beautiful, inviting walkway! Wonderful composition and lovely colors! Love the flower petals coating the ground and edges of the gate and fence!
