Floored
(07.02.05)

Thought I'd stop by to say hi. This is not the most creative shot, but gives you a sense of what I've been up to these last few weeks... tiling a kitchen floor...not a bad job, huh?

Seems like ages since I've posted to my PAD, but with fingers crossed, this kitchen remodel should be over next week: counters will be installed on Tuesday, and the plumber arrives on Wednesday. As is true with projects like this, there have been set backs. You know, little things, like having cabinets arrive and the cabinet installer not showing because he found a better job. :(

Humm, I'm liking this high perspective... brings me back to my college weight. ;)

hehehe, does make you look thinner!

You look younger and younger every time you post a SP! What are you on? :-)
Great tiling job.

Simple but very eye catching the clarity and the POV are strong. The grille at your feet is a curious touch.

I'm running out of models, if I had you close...

Great shot! Our kitchen remodel is on hold until the company I work decides I can cash last week's paycheck.

Hello down there. What'd you do? Hang the camera from the ceiling? Great caption and photo. I love your sense of humor and it doesn't hurt that you're so photogenic. From all angles too. :)

excellent work! you look well after all the labours! I'm glad to see the duct tape was the proper stuff and not the cheapo types, otherwise you would have one big headache!

Very cool shot!

Looks like a great job LC - if it's anything like your photography it is carefully thought out and beautifully executed :) Nice perspective to get the new tile and the tile-guy all in the same shot - love that chapeau!

Wonderful job on the tiles, and I love the perspective ... :)
Susanne02-Jul-2005 22:23
Great perspective. You are still busy with that floor it appears.

Nice perspective! Looks like your project is coming along nicely!

Great shot... good to see you back LC. Quite a catching angle.
The no-show of your cabinet installed must have been a bummer. I would have taken two Tylenol (get the joke?) and gone to bed.

I like this perspective as well. Looks like a good tile job and you look none the worse for wear and tear.

Since I love low angle shots, that's the ultimate!

Excellent perspective!!

Jude, the camera was 6ft high. I duct-taped the tripod out from a step ladder and then mounted my camera. Great stuff duct-tape!
jude02-Jul-2005 19:25
I love this perspective.. I'm just wondering how high you had your camera!
Guest 02-Jul-2005 19:11
